This powder room was actually one of the first projects we did when we moved into our house. Like many powder rooms, it was tiny and the dark colors weren't helping.
The sink, while useful for storage, was an awkward size and took up a lot of visual space. I decided on a pedestal sink to combat this, and also added a floor to ceiling tile accent wall to make the room feel taller.
My husband, Pete, and I installed the tile ourselves.
In fact, we got most of it installed during our kids' nap time. (Check out how tiny they were!)
