Our kitchen renovation was a pretty major project. The original kitchen as seen below was small and only had 7.5' ceilings (is that even to code??).
Hate is a strong word but I really hated that old kitchen. I called it "regrets of the 90s". It even had a blue racing stripe on the linoleum countertops that matched the blue backsplash. So fancy!
I tried every which way to fit an island in the old space but it just wouldn't happen. So we bit the bullet and moved the kitchen into the old dining room. It was a whole thing but we love how it turned out!
